Linen: These beautiful cushions are printed on 100% natural linen. This is a very comfortable, anti-allergic and sustainable fabric. 

Inks: These meet the UK Soil Association and the Global, Organic Textile Standards. After printing they are set with intense heat which makes them totally fast. The colours will not fade or bleed when washed.

Feather: Filled with 100% duck feathers and contained in 100% cotton cambric. This sumptuous cushion pad carries the RDS (Responsibe Down Standard) label.

Polyester: Filled with 100% polyester, and contained in 100% organic cotton. This comfortable cushion pad is hypo-allergenic.

Printing: I hand-print all the cushions using a low-tech process. I love using potatoes - they are all different and I find that the skin absorbs the ink in a special way creating a ‘crisp’ outline - the results transform a humble vegetable into something fun and sophisticated!

Making Up: I carefully consider every detail of this process. The zipper is concealed and the cushion corners are sewn with a slight curve to improve the shape and to make it sit well on your furniture.

Plump up your hand-made cushion regularly to keep it looking great.

Wash your cusion by carefully opening the zip and removing the inner pad. Hand-wash the cover with the zip closed at 30º then allow to dry.

Iron the cover with a hot iron then replace the cushion pad by rolling it up, inserting it into the cover, checking that all corners are filled.

I care very much how your cushion will look when it arrives. It will be wrapped in acid free tissue paper and placed snuggly in a cardboard box, taped up with paper tape. All packaging materials are plastic free, reclyclable and sustainable.
